Every Weapon in Time Shooter 2: When to Take It and When to Throw It
Published · 2 min read

Time Shooter 2 hands you nothing at the start of a level and everything by the end. Which weapon you hold decides how the room plays, and the right answer changes every few metres. Here is the whole armoury.
Fists
Always available. A punch kills a stunned enemy and does nothing to an alert one. Fists are how you turn a thrown bottle into a kill: stun, walk up, punch, take the gun.
Pistol
The most common weapon and the most versatile. Accurate at any distance a room allows, a handful of rounds, and light enough that throwing it is a real option. Take it when the level starts, drop it for anything better, and keep the last round for the throw.
Shotgun
A wall of pellets that ends anything within a few metres and misses everything beyond. Corridors and doorways love it; open halls hate it. The spread is wide enough that you barely have to aim, which makes it the best weapon for a level where enemies come round corners.
Submachine gun
Fast, loud and empty before you expect. Good for two enemies standing near each other, bad for anything at range. Tap it in short bursts and it lasts twice as long.
Rifle
Accurate and hard-hitting at range, but slow to bring up. Stop moving before you aim or the bullet lands where the enemy was. The rifle turns a big room into a shooting gallery if you find a corner first.
Sniper
One shot, one enemy, from anywhere on the map. Rare. If a level has one, it is usually placed so that reaching it is the puzzle. Worth it every time.
Knife
Thrown, not swung. A thrown knife kills. A knife in the hand does the same as a fist. Pick it up to throw it; do not walk around with it.
Bottles and objects
Anything you can pick up can be thrown, and a thrown object stuns. A stunned enemy drops his guard for about a second of real time, which in this game is as long as you need.
The rule under all of it
A weapon has two lives: the shots in it, and the throw after. Plan the throw before the last shot and you will never stand in the open with an empty gun.
